Tabias + Zabrea | Just Married

The couple got engaged on June 1st, and were wed September 24th 2016. The Bride’s father had a dream prior to the engagement of his daughter and soon to be son in law getting married in a forest and the reception would be in the venue he created for them. In his dream their wedding was a majestical sunset wedding, with a prayer circle, and they were surrounded by huge logs that made you feel like you were in the middle of the enchanted forest.  The day Zabrea and Tabias got engaged, her dad started working on the forest and the transformation of his barn into their beautiful wedding venue.  Zabrea decided on an earthy eclectic vibe, they painted the venue black to add an edgy feel . They cut the barn in half so her father could still work on the other half, and her mom spent a week stacking a woodpile as the wall. Her dad made the bar area with concrete countertops, stainless bar taps and his very own home brew. Every child in their family gets their own recipe for their own beers at each of their weddings and the family spends a night making it together. Her younger brother made all of the industrial high top tables. Countless hours were spent thrifting, building, and bringing the vision to life. Only family attended the ceremony with friends joining in on the celebration at the reception after. Their first kiss photo was PERFECT as the sun was setting and the light shined off the diamonds that were tied into the macrame backdrop.
